Courses are run at a location of your choosing in and around West Yorkshire and Lancashire. Sessions are run with a maximum of 12 people. This could be at your home, youth group or in a locally accessible woodland. Urban Wild Play has a small team of experienced instructors who will work with you to learn at your own pace.
The essential bushcraft skills covered include fire lighting, shelter building, purifying water, and identifying edible plants. Safe use of tools, including knives and saws underpins all activities. We will help you understand how to prevent risks and to build confidence so that you are in control of your bushcraft skills.
One to One tuition can be offered from our residence in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. This is suitable for bow drill (fire by friction) master classes and professional development.
All instructors hold advanced first aid certification and are advanced DBS checked.
